Galloway Consolidated Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Bema, Inc., Elite Extrusion Technology and Bema Digital Innovations; a recognized leading supplier to the flexible packaging industry; is looking for an experienced Scheduling Manager.
We encourage innovation from our associates, employ the latest technology and have aggressive expansion plans. This position will support our facility in St. Charles, Illinois.
Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000/year
Responsibilities & Duties
• Creates department schedules for all machines, multi-facility operation.
• Actively monitors work order/inventory and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Ensures there is an adequate distribution of labor to enable production schedules to be met.
• Maintains appropriate inventory levels.
• Communicate well with management, customers and personnel regarding production status and customer needs.
• Purchase materials for stock and production.
• Supervises the Purchasing Associate.
• Create and maintain security badges of employees.
• Perform other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by management.
• Facilitate bi-weekly production meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
• Experience with Scheduling Software (Planet Together a plus) and Material Resource Planning (MRP) software systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Safety oriented
• Attention to Detail
• Strong general computer skills a must – Excel, Word, 3rd party ancillary software
• Able to communicate effectively with co-workers, subordinates, management, customers and vendors.
• Work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities at once.
• Helps ensure all policies for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed.
