Galloway Consolidated Holdings, parent company of Bema Incorporated, Elite Extrusion Technology and Bema Digital Innovations is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Press Assistant, with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization. This position is based in St. Charles, Illinois.
Salary Range: $22 – $27/Hour
Responsibilities
• Assist the Pressman with daily press operations.
• Ensure all necessary supplies and materials are available at the press.
• Perform press support activities, including Turbo wash procedures, Sleeve changes, loading raw materials onto press unwind.
• Support quality, productivity, and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press and work area.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Ensure compliance with AIB housekeeping and sanitation standards.
• Properly handle hazardous waste materials, including inks and solvents.
• Complete required labeling, tracking, and documentation for waste materials.
• Assist with operation and maintenance of the PRI Distillation Unit.
• Support proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications

Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Salary for this position is based on, among other things, a candidate’s experience and qualifications.
