Galloway Consolidated Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Bema, Inc., Elite Extrusion Technology and Bema Digital Innovations; a recognized leading supplier to the flexible packaging industry; is looking for an experienced Second Shift Maintenance Technician-Electrical.

Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000/year
Responsibilities & Duties
Maintenance technicians are responsible for performing highly diversified duties which include, but are not limited to, equipment installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production and facility assets.
• 3-5 years in trouble shooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level.
• An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls, and power transmission systems.
• Able to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives
• PLC and Electronic troubleshooting.
• Experienced with electrical test equipment.
• Familiar with pumps, both air and electric.
• Able to install and trouble shoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits.
• Knowledge of the various types of sensors and switches
• A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of power transmission equipment and bearings.
• Familiar with computers and Microsoft software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility assets.
• Perform equipment calibrations.
• Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, drawings, and parts list.
• Experienced with hand and power tools, shop equipment, and electrical test equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic welding skills preferred but not required.
• Comply with all company policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or management.
• Help maintain facilities Food Safety Standards
Qualifications & Skills
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of “hands-on” Industrial Maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experienced in either the Flexible Packaging or Blown Film Industries, strongly preferred.
• Able to work on ladders, lifts, and at heights.
• Available to work “on call” and on weekends when needed.
• Experienced with CMMS software preferred.
• Knowledgeable with OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills.
