Galloway Consolidated Holdings, parent company to Bema Incorporated, Elite Extrusion Technology and Bema Digital Innovations; a recognized leading supplier to the flexible packaging industry; is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager, with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization. GCH encourages innovation from its associates, employs the latest technology and has aggressive expansion plans. This position will support our facilities in St. Charles, Illinois.
Salary Range: $95,000 to $110,000/year
Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee and coordinate the Maintenance Department to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
- Supervise, mentor, and lead maintenance technicians to meet manufacturing and production schedules.
- Identify areas of inefficiency and develop and implement action plans related to production, equipment, and personnel.
- Coordinate daily production operations while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on all production equipment and facility assets.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues; read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Work closely with production teams to quickly resolve equipment problems and minimize downtime.
- Provide strong leadership, training, and direction to maintenance staff.
- Maintain effective communication with management and all departments.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Help maintain facility Food Safety Standards and AIB compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5–10 years of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Direct experience in flexible packaging or blown film production (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to utilize CMMS platforms for work order management.
- Comfortable working at heights and utilizing industrial lifts/ladders.
- Available for weekend and on-call rotations.
