Galloway Consolidated Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Bema, Inc., Elite Extrusion Technology and Bema Digital Innovations; a recognized leading supplier to the flexible packaging industry; is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager.
We encourage innovation from our associates, employ the latest technology and have aggressive expansion plans. This position will support our facility in St. Charles, Illinois.
Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000/year
Responsibilities & Duties
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure that staff understand the importance of working safely daily.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with ERP system.
• Actively participate in the hiring and recruiting process to make sure that staffing levels are adequately maintained.
• Ensure that warehouse staff is trained in ERP system, company policies and job procedures.
• Ensure that safety, production, and quality goals are identified and achieved.
• Oversee the company’s physical assets, including building, equipment and inventory are controlled, maintained and protected.
• Identify areas for improvement and look to continually improve operational efficiencies.
• Organize daily shipments and communicate with customer service and purchasing on daily outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Manage day-to-day production operations across multiple shifts. Work closely with production departments to manage inventory control and proper material requirements to allow production to meet its daily production schedule.
• Execute monthly and annual inventory and reconcile differences to ERP system.
• Work with staff to ensure that the stored inventory is organized, accurately located and is aligned with an ERP system.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
• 7+ years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of proven warehouse managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• ERP experience required, Microsoft Dynamics Nav/365 preferred.
• Experience in managing an automated warehouse environment.
• Strong decision making and staff management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred not required.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead.
